On April 17, 2010, the Township of Nutley held its third annual town-wide clean-up of the parks and other public areas to celebrate Earth Day. Hundreds of volunteers - individuals, families, schools, clubs and businesses - spent the time picking up trash, raking, weeding, and planting. There was a celebration afterward at Kingsland Park.
